What Proper Havoc Will Never Compromise On

There are a lot of things we’re still figuring out.
Materials.
Manufacturing paths.
Exact timelines.

But there are a few things we already know, with absolute clarity, that we will never
compromise on.

1. Function Comes First
If it doesn’t serve the wearer, it doesn’t belong here. Period.
No decorative struggle. No performative tailoring. No “you’ll get used to it.”

2. Design Must Earn Its Place
Every detail has a job. If it’s just there to look good, it better also do something useful, or
it’s gone.

3. Real Life Is the Use Case
Our clothes are designed for movement, long days, short nights, unexpected plans, and
repeat wear. If it only works standing still, it doesn’t work.

4. No False Scarcity
We’re not here to manufacture panic. No fake urgency. No rushed drops. No “get it now
or regret it forever” nonsense.

5. Honesty Over Hype
If something isn’t ready, we’ll say so.
If something doesn’t work yet, we’ll fix it before we sell it.
We don’t need to pretend perfection, we’re committed to progress.

6. We Build Before We Broadcast
The internet loves noise. We prefer substance.
Marketing will never come before the product.

These standards are non-negotiable.
They guide every decision, even when it would be easier not to follow them.

Especially then.

Proper Havoc isn’t about doing everything differently.
It’s about refusing to do things that don’t make sense anymore.
And we’re perfectly comfortable being difficult about that.
